(How they met from theknot.com) Because no great story ever started with a salad. Our great story, of course, started with a glass of wine. Okay, well maybe not a glass of wine, but rather we both worked for a Wine Distribution Company, the job that took selling wine and turned it into our forever love story.

I never would have imagined that over 4 years ago, a coworker would have turned to me and insisted that he "has the guy for me". Despite his effort to set us up on a blind date in front of half our work teams, we both agreed to become friends and gracefully diffuse the spotlight during our work event. Fast forward a year and that friendship officially turned into our first date. A laughter-filled sushi date full of Kayla's attempted use of chopsticks and Mike's never ending list of bad jokes started the beginning of many dates thereafter.

3 years, two jobs and countless sushi dates later, I have mastered the art of chopsticks and Mikes jokes are still as cheesy as ever. We moved into our own place 2 years ago and our love has grown to include two fur babies, Toby and Lily. They enjoy living in San Diego and can't wait for their endless walks and dog park visits.

We have built an amazing life in San Diego and our love continues to grow with each day. We still can't believe we have found each other and can't wait to write the next chapter of our story complete with family and friends on our special day!
